Mr. Shepherd was supposed to take a drawing class at three in the afternoon. But suddenly an emergency call came from his house, his daughter M had cut her hand while cutting cheese at home. He quickly left the school and went to his house to see the terrible situation. He went to the hospital with his daughter.
Meanwhile, Justin gets out of school an hour early due to missing Mr. Shepherd's drawing class. Back home, he begs his mom to go out for a walk. Justin's father is at home that day. So they decided to go to the movie. They left the house in a private car. But they don't get tickets while buying movie tickets.
As a result, Justin and his parents decided to go to a restaurant to eat. While returning home after eating at the restaurant, suddenly their car tires got punctured. Justin's father to fix the place. Justin and his mother took an Uber home. Just before returning to the bus, the call comes, Justin's father had an accident while returning from fixing the tire. He was taken to the hospital. Justin and his mother rushed to the hospital. Let's stop here and take a step back.
Mr. Sephardt's daughter M did not cut her hand while cutting cheese at home. Mr. Sephard didn't even get a call. His class went on as usual. As a result, Justin's school holiday was on time. He did not even bother to go out when he returned home. Even if there was no problem with buying movie tickets, there was no problem with going to restaurants to eat because of everyone staying at home, Justin's father didn't have an accident, so it seems that the incident changed from a small cut of cheese to Justin's father's accident. Not only that but because of Justin's father, there was chaos in the cycle of events of all the people who were busy. If they could have bought the movie tickets, the course of events would have been completely different. It is easily called chaos theory in scientific language.
The above events are fictitious. But it is 100% true that all the people of this world are affected by each other's actions in one way or another. And here comes the famous butterfly effect. The butterfly effect was first introduced by mathematician and meteorologist Edward Lorenz. In One Hundred Forty-Ninth Session of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He asked the question if a butterfly flaps its wings in Brazil, if that flapping wings can cause a tornado in Texas? At that time, many thought his question to be a madman's delirium. But later science found that any small action can significantly change the outcome of an event. And Edward Lorenz actually wants to convey this in his speech. He showed mathematically that if one wave in the world is changed slightly, that change significantly changes all other waves in the world. Generally, the science of nonlinear and uncertain phenomena is called the science of chaos.
All other branches of science generally rely on linear mathematics and deal with phenomena that yield specific results. Such as electricity, gravity or chemical reactions. But in chaos theory, it is never possible to make an exact prediction of events in general. But how did Lorenz get the idea of the butterfly effect?
Lorenz was a meteorologist. He was rechecking the weather forecast one day when, in order to work faster, he calculated the result with three digits instead of the six digits after the decimal point. He was surprised by the results. This account is completely different from the previous account. But the value he omitted was almost zero. Even the weather forecast graphs show a huge difference between the two. Then Lorenz began to rant. Lorenz was looking at manipulations with different decimal numbers. Huge difference in the graph every time. He was surprised to see this completely opposite form of weather for such small data. He presented his famous paper on the Butterfly Effect.
That is, the change of a small matter can bring huge chaos. Later extensive research was done on butterfly fake. The most beautiful example of the butterfly effect can be given. Another story is told. Nineteen-six years. A painter in the city of Vienna falls in love with a Jewish girl while painting her. The boy used to send letters to the girl through his beloved dog. Dharnadhyam's family refused to accept this poor boy. One day they killed the boy's dog. The boy's life changed in this incident. Joined the army. In 1988, a British soldier beat him and injured him. Not only that, there was also an order to kill him. But the British army kindly released him. And that boy was the later terrible ruler Adolf Hitler.
An estimated sixty-three million Jews were killed during World War II on his orders. It is believed that the Jewish girl's family is the reason why she hated the Jews so much. And what would have happened if the British army had killed him without mercy on that day, the history of the whole world would have changed that day. Let's tell one more story of the butterfly effect. In the year 1275, a farmer in a state called Giali in Belgium stole a cow from a neighboring state. He took the cow to the market to sell. But what happens if the forehead is bad, someone from the neighboring state sees him with a cow. The farmer is told that if he goes and brings the cow back to the next village, he will be forgiven. The farmer goes to return the cow like a good man. But the king of that kingdom arrested him and hanged him to death. The king of Jelaraj got very angry at this incident. Will someone be hanged for stealing just one cow? He could not accept it. He took this as an insult and declared war directly with the neighboring kingdom to punish this insult. Who knew the result of this war would be like this, the war continued for three years. Not only is this war limited to them, but this war spreads throughout Belgium. Village after village started to be destroyed. About two lakh people died in this war. In the history of Belgium, this war is known as Dakha Vasse or War of the Cow. 200,000 people died due to petty cow theft. Just imagine, if that farmer had not stolen the cow that day, history would have changed. Surprisingly, it is true that the butterfly effect was seen in the possibility of the third world war.
In 1962, World War III would have started. Unless proper intelligence was exercised at the last moment. Due to a particular misunderstanding that day, the Soviet submarine Top Tudu almost missed the launch of the US warship. According to Soviet regulations, the consent of each of the three ranks of the captain, political officer, and second-in-command is required for the launch of submarine torpedoes. But while the other two agreed, the second-in command officer did not. At that time, both the Soviet Union and the United States were nuclear powers. At that time, if these two superpowers went to war, the use of nuclear bombs was inevitable. The result would be terrible. Even human existence could disappear from the earth. This is how the smallest of actions can significantly change the outcome of an event. Looking at the history of the world, there are many more examples. Even if you look at yourself, you can understand it very easily. Whatever decision you make, right or wrong, is changing your life. Constantly according to that chaos theory.
