What are bioweapons? How dangerous are bioweapons?

February this year. That is, since Russia and Ukraine have been involved in the conflict, a word has been repeatedly repeated in the media. Some say chemical weapons. Some say bioweapons. It is being said that Russia can use this weapon only if the situation worsens. A devastating flood may occur several times more than Hiroshima Nagasaki. The human civilization of a part of the world can be destroyed. But why so afraid of this biological weapon or open air. Why is it called the most devastating invention of human civilization?

The world saw the devastation of America's atomic bomb attack on Hiroshima Nagasaki. There is no way to mess with a weapon that can do more damage than this. They used to fight each other with shields and swords, from there to ammunition, from cannons to modern weapons, from nuclear weapons to supersonic, ultrasupersonic. Weapons as sharp as missiles are now in the hands of people. But the weapon that will be talked about today will not be called a living weapon. Bio opens which is considered to be more powerful than all the weapons in the world. Thousands of people could be wiped out in silence. And which can have an effect for several decades. In a word, it is a type of viral agent or a means of spreading poison capable of spreading at a very fast speed. All these agents include bacteria, viruses, fungi and insects. These weapons have been used against enemies since the past and more people have died due to the effect of these biological weapons than any normal war. Air open is not included in the list of destructive whole states because it usually does not have the ability to destroy a structure.

This weapon does not harm factories, houses or goods but destroys human life. And its almost impossible to control. And the effect of which does not take long to build up to an epidemic pandemic. And for that reason, until two thousand and thirteen years, about one hundred and eighty countries declared it prohibited. However, some countries are secretly researching bio-weapons. Think once. If ever it falls into the hands of any terrorist group what could be the consequences. Thinking about it will make you shiver. In a film published in 2012, it was shown: An accident that happened inside the moving metro in Calcutta city was shown in a whole train in which hundreds of people were sitting on their seats or lying on the ground, some of them were lifeless. Just before this, a milk bottle is shown bursting from a woman's hand. And the liquids inside spread around. In fact, it was a sample of the use of air weapons or chemical weapons. You will be surprised to know. This scene shown in the film is not the imagination of the director. In 1995, a radical group from the Aum Shim community in Japan used sarin gas on the Tokyo subway. Twelve passengers of the train were killed and more than five thousand people were injured. Biological weapons can be divided into several parts. Especially the type of organism that is lethal and how long the incubation period will last. Its types depend on whether it can be prevented with the currently available vaccine.

After the corona epidemic spread around the world, a theory gained a lot of publicity in the western media that the corona virus is actually a Chinese-made air vent. Former US President Donald Trump alleged that China has used this air gap to push back Europe and America. The argument of the West was that although the production of Corona was in China, this virus could not cause much damage there. Rather, Europe has carried out destruction in America. On the other hand, China has become the richest country in the world in these two years. For these reasons, many believed in this doctrine. By the year 265, the first use of chemical weapons was seen in the war between Roman and Persians. At that time, the Persian soldiers used a type of lethal gas to kill many Roman soldiers before they reached the battlefield. During World War I, Germany took an initiative called the Landenstein Program, which aimed to infect Allied horses and cattle. Not only that, it is said that in the year 1915, the Germans tried to spread the plague in Sen Pitchersburg, Russia. All parties were afraid to see the terrible form of the First World War in order to undermine the power of Russia.

That's why most countries put an end to the use of all kinds of biological and chemical weapons in war in the 1925 Geneva Protocol. But Japan was the first to break the rules of the Geneva Protocol and focus on full-scale bio-weapons development, production and testing. Not only that, from 1937 to 1945, bio-weapons were used against China and more than 3,000 prisoners of war were tested with air pens and these people died horribly. B. Borne Plague, Anthrax, Yellow Fever were among the infectious agents that the Japanese experimented with. When talking about bio weapons , the word bioterrorism will come up again and again. Simply put, any militant or violent activity based on bio-waepons can be called bioterrorism. If bio weapons fall into the hands of a special group with the support of a dictatorial government, there will always be a threat of bioterrorism. Some recent scattered events bear the evidence. If the intelligence department of a state wants to use biological weapons in another state, it can do it very easily. If there is a tube full of virus in the bag, it will not be easily caught by the airport security detector. The virus cannot be seen on the screen of the scanning machine. Because of this it is very easy to carry. Attacking is easier than that. The Indian-origin controversial religious guru Rajmis once had a large number of foreign fans. In Wasco County, Oregon, Rajneesh's devotees sickened 750 people with typhoid.

All this shows us the terrible form of bioterrorism. The use of chemical weapons and biological weapons is strictly prohibited by the Chemical Weapons Convention Act of 1997. This ban is signed by most countries of the world including Russia. The Global Watch Top for Chemical Weapons is based in The Hague, Netherlands. Which is known as OPCW. The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons monitors the illegal use of chemical weapons and ensures that the weapons are not used. Russia says it destroyed its last stockpile of chemical weapons in 2017.

But Moscow is still accused of at least two chemical attacks. The first charge was the Salisbury Valley invasion of the United Kingdom in March 2018. There, a former KKGB officer and defector Seige Kripal and his daughter were poisoned with the nerve agent Nabichap. However, Russia has denied this allegation. However, according to the investigators' report, two officers of the Russian GRU military intelligence agency were directly involved. As a result, one hundred and twenty-eight Russian spies and diplomats were expelled from different countries. Another allegation is that anti-Russian activist Alexei Navalny was poisoned in August 2020. But for a short time he came back from the door of death. It is as clear as daylight that biological weapons are the most destructive of all the weapons of human extermination we have at our disposal.

Not just the ones that cause epidemics. Along with that, all the elements of the environment, water, wind, soil also play a significant role in the damage. The behavior of which goes to food grains. Due to the versatile properties of bio-weapons , it can be produced at a relatively low cost. Spreads rapidly in nature. And it is very easy to carry. Bio-opens directly cause huge damage to natural resources. Sometimes spread through the air very easily. Attacks on plants. Can easily enter the human body through food. And several virus-carrying agents can move through water. They are more terrible. It is said that eighty million people can be killed in just six hours by mixing ten grams of bio-weapons in water. Canine distemper is a common infectious disease. which mainly attacks wild dogs and other wild animals belonging to that category. This canine destamper can also be produced in the laboratory. Over the past few decades, it has been observed that many species of wildlife in North America are going extinct due to this disease, and this disease is directly responsible for the loss of a third of the lion population in Tanzania. By 1887, European soldiers spread the rinderpest virus throughout Africa, which killed most of Africa's cattle.

It may be possible to stop research on bio-weapons by putting pressure on small or relatively less powerful countries with economic sanctions. But will we see this same picture for those who are known as powerhouses in the world? It does not seem that Russia, during the Ukraine crisis, it came to light that the United States was directly supporting the project of making sophisticated biological and chemical weapons in Ukraine. The United States and Germany jointly established a network of at least thirty biological laboratories in Ukraine for research on biological weapons. The White House itself has admitted this. The atomic bomb is now backdated. Biological weapons have taken that place. Because the nuclear bomb is very loud. On the other hand, such enemies can be eliminated silently using Bio weapons . Superpowers continue to invest billions of dollars in wind power to protect their monopoly of power. And it is always behind everything. Bio-weapons have no smell, no special color which makes it difficult to detect. It is very difficult to distinguish the symptoms of the diseases they cause from the symptoms of common diseases. Which makes Bio weapons hundreds of times more terrifying. As people cause harm to people, so people can provide security to people. Therefore, it is never possible to save the world from the threat of biological weapons unless all people with good sense unite.
